Currently, there is an <br />existing Free Standing sign located on the property, which meets <br />all City Code requirements. <br />Specifically, the applicants would like to construct a 9 x 8 foot <br />advertisement sign which stands 20 feet tall, exceeding the <br />Freestanding Sign height requirement in the B -3 General Business <br />District. <br />ANALYSIS <br />Freestanding signs located in Little Canada are allowed on an <br />increasing scale based on floor area square footage of the <br />principal structure. The Gas -N -Go station is 60' x 60.1' or 3,606 <br />square feet in size, therefore, freestanding signs are limited to <br />sixteen (16) feet in height and one hundred and fifteen (115) <br />square feet in area.
