Mayor & City Council <br />March 16, 1993 <br />Page 5 <br />As an example of scheduling, the pages 6 and 7 of this memorandum are last <br />year's field schedule sheets for the period of May 4 through July 23 on <br />Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights. Keep in mind that my <br />projections as of today are for approximately six additional youth teams <br />for 1993. <br />To further explain the chart: <br />E -1, E -2, Etc. across top refer to fields. <br />X = Fields not available <br />P = Practice of youth teams prior to season <br />A = Adult games (Practice fields are not assigned to them.) <br />B = Boys baseball games <br />G = Girls softball games <br />T = Girls & boys teeball Games <br />Where two letters are contained in one box, two teams shared that field on <br />that evening. <br />It should be noted that during the pre- season, the field demand is highest <br />and many teams practice only once per week instead of the two that are <br />preferred. Once the youth game schedule begins, most teams play a home <br />and away schedule with other teams in Maplewood and field demand is <br />somewhat reduced. <br />Page 74 <br />
