Director, Girls Activities <br />TO: Mayor & City Council <br />FROM: Jim Morelan <br />DATE: June 14, 1993 <br />RE: 1992 PROGRAM REVENUE /EXPENSE REPORT <br />The attached is a report showing revenue and expenses of various <br />programs conducted in 1992 and early 1993. It should be noted <br />that several columns list no dollar amounts. The various reasons <br />for this consist of: <br />A. Registration fees vary greatly for different levels and <br />listing an average fee would be misleading. <br />B. Expenditures in some adult activities are not identified <br />because there were no direct paid out expenses. <br />C. Fees charged in neighboring cities were taken from the <br />most appropriate source based upon relative programs and <br />relative involvement. Some had no comparable program or <br />they provided greatly varied services for fees collected, <br />making comparisons difficult. <br />An administration fee of $1.50 per child has been added to the <br />actual expenditures of all of the youth activities and is <br />reflected in that column. <br />It should also be noted that expenses for many programs may vary <br />each year depending on equipment replacement needs.
