The Planner
noted that the moratorium was established due to a number of code
enforcement concerns related to auto sales uses in conjunction with auto
repair as well as outdoor storage. The moratorium gives the City an
opportunity to study the issue and make amendments to the Code.
The Planner indicated that as part of the study, he has reviewed three uses
that warrant discussion and possible ordinance amendments. These are:
1. Motor Vehicle Sales, Indoor.
2. Motor Vehicle Sales Lot, Outdoor.
3. Salvage Vehicle Sales and Repair.
The Planner reviewed his September 9th report relative to these three uses
and summarized recommended ordinance amendments.
