Little Canada, MN 55117 -1633 RE: LITTLE CANADA ROAD IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT PARTIAL PAY ESTIMATE #2 & CHANGE ORDER #1 Dear Council Members: TAOL MOATA Please find attached 3 copies of Partial Pay Estimate No. 2 and Change Order No. 1 for the above - referenced project. As you are aware, the Contractor for the project is FPI Paving Contractors, Inc. The total amount earned by the Contractor on this partial pay estimate is $414,330.40. Subtracting 5% retainage of $20,716.52 and previous payments of $172,359.83, the amount due the Contractor is $221,254.05. The Change Order is for the installation of a sanitary and water service to 555 Little Canada Road property north of the street. The property was not served previously and the mainline utilities were on the south side of the street. After the service work was discussed with and approved by the property owner the Contractor was directed to install the services as part of the street project. All costs are being assessed to the property owner. The remainder of the payment is for street work including removals, subgrade correction, gravel placement, and concrete work. We have inspected the work performed by FPI Paving Contractors, Inc. and find it to be in compliance with the plans, specifications, and contract documents. Therefore we would recommend approval of Partial Pay Estimate No. 2 in the amount of $221,254.05 and Change Order #1 in the amount of $10,896.00.
