515 Little Canada Road, Little Canada, MN 55117 -1600
(612) 484 -2177 / FAX: (612) 484 -4538
MEMORANDUM
TO: Mayor Hanson & Members of the City Council
FROM: Joel Hanson, City Administrator
DATE: June 3, 1994
RE: 1994 Street Improvements - Approval of Plans and
Specifications
MA YOR
Raymond G. Hanson
COUNCIL
Beverly Scalze
Jim LaValle
Steve Morelan
Bob Pedersen
ADMINISTRATOR
Joel R. Hanson
Plans and specifications for the 1994 street improvements are
nearing completion and the Engineer is seeking approval at our
Council meeting of June 7, 1994 in order that advertisement for
bids may be placed. This approval is typically a routine matter.
However, given the nature of the sidewalk /trail issues we have
discussed, the Engineer will be present at Tuesday's meeting to
review his recommendation as well as alternatives which may
exist. This discussion will also serve as a prelude to our
informational meeting to be held with affected property owners on
the 22nd of June. It should also be noted that based on Kathy's
survey of each member of the Council, the majority prefer to have
our informational meeting in front of the full Council with the
Engineer present and preferrably on the 22nd. That is the course
of action we plan on following.
JRH:kpv
Page 23
