If the variance is denied, the roadway must then be
constructed to provide access to the subject lots.
ALTERNATIVES
A. If the Planning Commission feels that all variance criteria
are met, it may recommend approval of the variance to allow
construction of home on property that does not have public
road frontage. Said recommendation is based on the findings
included in this memo, subject to the following conditions:
1. Said approval does not mean that the Lake Street will not
become an improved public roadway in the future.
2. The applicant must sign a waiver which states that he
will not object to future improvements.
3. A permit must be obtained from the Metro Waste control
Commission.
B. If the Planning Commission feels that all variance criteria
are not met, it may recommend denial of the variance to allow
construction of home on property that does not have public
road frontage.
RECOMMENDATION
Because our office feels that the proposal does not meet all of the
variance criteria we must recommend denial of request (Alternative
A) to construct a home on property which does not have public
roadway frontage.
pc: Kathy Glanzer
Thomas Sweeney
Dave Harris
Mike Lynch
Kevin Keenan
4
Page 20
