ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 809.010. OF THE <br />MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA, <br />RELATING TO APPLICATION AND FEES FOR <br />GARBAGE, RECYCLABLE MATERIALS, AND RUBBISH <br />STORAGE AND COLLECTION WITH IN THE CITY <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE CANADA HEREBY ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. <br />Section 809.010. of the Municipal Code of the City of Little <br />Canada is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />809.010. APPLICATION AND FEE. Any person or company <br />intending to conduct a garbage, recyclable materials, and rubbish <br />collection business in the City of Little Canada shall apply to <br />the City Administrator Clcr]E for a license. The application <br />shall include the following information: <br />(A) name and business address of applicant; <br />(B) a description of the vehicles and equipment to be used <br />in said business; <br />(C) the locations of refuse dumps to be used for disposal <br />of collected refuse; <br />(D) the manner in which such refuse and garbage is to be <br />disposed of; and <br />(E) a general disposal plan in conformity with Minnesota <br />Pollution Control Agency regulations. <br />Said application shall be submitted to the City Health <br />Officer for investigation. The Health Officer shall determine <br />whether or not the applicant is a responsible individual or <br />company, and whether the applicant possesses the necessary <br />equipment to provide adequate services. The Health Officer shall <br />review any other matters-4e. he/she deems pertinent to Ursa his /her <br />investigation. If the Health Officer finds that the applicant is <br />entitled to a license, as he /she shall indicate 44s his /her <br />approval on the application. <br />A license fee of Seventy -five and no /100 Dollars ($75.00) <br />for one (1) year or any <br />part thereof shall be paid to the City Administrator Clerk at the <br />time of submitting said application. This annual license shall <br />commence July 1 of each year. <br />-2- <br />Page 30 <br />
