ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 302.010., 302.020., 302.030., <br />302.040., 302.050., AND 302.100. OF THE <br />MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA, <br />RELATING TO LICENSES AND BONDS FOR <br />CONTRACTORS DOING WORK WITHIN THE CITY <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE CANADA HEREBY ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. <br />Section 302.010. of the Municipal Code of the City of Little Canada is <br />hereby amended to read as follows: <br />302.010. LICENSES REQUIRED. Before any person, firm or corporation <br />shall engage in the business of performing any of the various types of work <br />listed in this Section, they shall first obtain a license to do so, as <br />hereinafter provided. <br />1. Cement work, cement block work, cement block laying or brick <br />work; <br />2. General construction including erection, alteration or <br />repair of buildings; <br />3. Moving or wrecking of buildings (see additional requirements <br />under Section 303.); <br />4. Plastering, drywall, outside stucco work, or lathing; <br />5. Heating, cooling, and gas installation; <br />6. Well drilling; <br />7. Roofing; <br />8. Sign and billboard erecting; <br />9. Excavation; <br />10. Driveway installation; <br />11. Licenses are not needed if the applicant is licensed by the <br />State of Minnesota, but the applicant must show proof of the <br />State license. <br />-1- <br />Page 34 <br />
