OCT -21 -1994 10.30 FROM SWEENEY BORER & OSTROW TO LITTLE CANADA P.08,'09 <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 809.010. OF <br />THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF LITTLE:CANADA, <br />RELATING TO APPLICATION AND,FEES FOR GARBAGE, RECYCLABLE <br />MATERIALS, AND RUBBISH COLLECTION BUSINESS IN THE CITY <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE CANADA HEREBY ORDAINS AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. <br />Section 809:010. of the Municipal Code of the City of <br />Little Canada is hereby amended.to read as follows: <br />809.010. APPLICATION AND FEB. Any person or company <br />intending to conduct a garbage, recyclable materials, and <br />rubbish collection business in the City of Littleā¢Canada shall <br />apply to the City Administrator for a license. The application <br />shall include the following information: <br />(A) name and business address of applicant; <br />(8) a description of the vehicles and equipment to be used <br />in said business; <br />(C) the locations of refuse dumps to be Used for disposal <br />of collected refuse; <br />(D) the manner in which such refuse and. garbage is to be <br />disposed of; and <br />(E) a general disposal plan in conformity with Minnesota <br />Pollution Control Agency regulations. <br />Said application shall be submitted to the Public Works <br />Superintendent for investigation. The public Works <br />Superintendent shall determine whether or not the applicant is a <br />responsible individual or company, and whether the applicant <br />possesses the necessary-equipment to provide adequate services. <br />The Public Works Superintendent shall review any other matters <br />he /she deems pertinent to his/her investigation. If the Public <br />Works superintendent finds the applicant is entitled to a <br />license, he /she shall indicate his /her approval on the <br />application. <br />A license fee of seventy -five and no /100 Dollars ($75.00) <br />for one (1) year or any part thereof shall be paid to the City <br />Administrator at the time of submitting said application. This <br />annual license shall commence July 1 of each year. <br />-1- <br />Page 9 4. <br />
