RESOLUTION <br />WHEREAS, Northwest Youth and Family Services (NYFS) has <br />applied to the Board of Government Innovation and Cooperation for <br />funds to develop a youth activity center, and <br />WHEREAS, these funds, if approved, would be used to <br />rennovate their new building located at 3490 North Lexington <br />Avenue and to purchase equipment for the youth activity center, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, NYFS is asking each of its joint powers cities to <br />participate as co- applicants in this process, and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Little Canada has been provided a copy <br />of the complete grant application which provides the details <br />associated with this project, and <br />WHEREAS, this project is just another example of how NYFS <br />continues to address the social service needs of our area's <br />residents, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Little <br />Canada that: <br />1. We hereby lend our full support to the application of <br />NYFS for $100,000 from the Board of Government <br />Innovation and Cooperation related to the establishment <br />of a youth activity center. <br />2. The City Administrator is hereby authorized to sign the <br />application on behalf of the City of Little Canada <br />documenting our support of this venture. <br />Adopted this 9th day of November, 1994. <br />Attest: <br />Raymond G.
