403. PARKING REGULATIONS. <br />403.010. PARKING PROHIBITED. There are hereby <br />established parking regulations, including parts of streets within <br />the City, wherein parking will be prohibited in portions of streets <br />and wherein parking will be restricted to certain hours and <br />hereinafter set forth. <br />403.020. HOURS. Between the hours 7:00 o'clock a.m. and <br />5:00 o'clock p.m. on any day except Saturday, Sunday or a holiday, <br />no parking shall be permitted on County Road B -2, also known as <br />Flower Street, from the east right -of -way line of Rice Street to a <br />point in line with the east building line of Capitol View Junior <br />High School. <br />403.030. STATE LAWS ADOPTED. All provisions of the laws <br />of the State of Minnesota with reference to parking and the <br />regulation thereof, on State Trunk Highways are hereby adopted by <br />reference and made a part hereof as though fully set forth herein. <br />403.040. SNOW EMERGENCY PARKING REGULATIONS. The parking <br />of any motor vehicle upon any street or road in the City of Little <br />Canada in such a manner or at such a time so as to impede the <br />plowing or removal of snow following a snowfall of 2 inches or more <br />in depth shall be prohibited until the snow on such street or road <br />has been removed or plowed. Vehicles of violators may be tagged <br />and towed away by or at the direction of the City and the expense <br />of such towing may be charged to the owner of such vehicle. Any <br />such towing or storage charges incurred by the City will be paid by <br />the owners efofe he is allowed to reclaim his vehicle. <br />403.050 PARKING OF COMMERCIAL VEHICLES PROHIBITED. <br />Parking ' of commercial vehicles shall be prohibited on all <br />residential--streets except while making deliveries or pick -ups. <br />ff- street parking of commercial vehicles shall likewise be <br />prohibited. <br />403.060. ESTABLISHMENT OF FIRE LANES. The City Council <br />upon report and recommendation of the City Clerk and Fire Chief, <br />may order the establishment of fire lanes on public or private <br />property in order that the use of fire equipment shall not be <br />impeded and that access to fire hydrants, stand pipes or buildings <br />may not be obstructed. The fire lanes shall be designated by <br />conspicuously posted signs displaying the words "No Parking - Fire <br />Lane" or words of similar meaning. The City shall erect and <br />maintain such signs on public property. The owner of private <br />property shall erect and maintain such signs on his property at his <br />own expense within 30 days after notification by the City Clerk of <br />the establishment of a fire lane. <br />403.070. PARKING PROHIBITED IN FIRE LANES. No person <br />shall park a vehicle or otherwise occupy or obstruct a fire lane <br />where appropriate "No Parking" signs have been erected. <br />Page 48 <br />
