He
GRANTS felt that one application should be submitted for Gervais
Mill Park and the other could be for a general tree planting
program.
ADJOURN
Wehrle asked who is offering the grants. Sanders stated
that it is the DNR and Tree City USA. Wehrle asked if we
could possibly obtain both grants. Sanders stated that it
is doubtful that we would get both.
Wehrle felt they were good programs that the City should
take advantage of. Sanders stated that the applications are
due on March 4, 1994. Therefore, he would like a motion
from the Commission recommending approval.
c Wehrle recommended that the City Council authorize Sanders
to submit grant applications for the two tree planting grant
programs on behalf of the City of Little Canada.
Motion seconded by Johnson.
Motion carried 6 - 0.
Magnuson recommended that the meeting be adjourned.
Motion seconded by Greger.
Motion carried 6 - 0.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned
at 10:08 p.m.
Respectfully submi ted,
K is VanSchoonhoven
-16-
Page 6
