Proposal Summary The City of Little Canada is interested in conducting a community survey to determine needs for services, satisfaction, and other information. Our proposed research methodology and understanding of the project may be summarized as follows: • The population of interest consists of residents and businesses in Little Canada. Anderson - Niebuhr will obtain listings of residents in the area; we assume you can provide us with listings of businesses. • Anderson - Niebuhr will draw a random sample of 375 households and 100 businesses. • We will work with representatives of Little Canada to develop questionnaires. Anderson - Niebuhr will administer a pretest of 10 residents and 10 businesses. • Data can be collected for the survey using either Anderson - Niebuhr's established mail or telephone methods. • Anderson - Niebuhr will prepare a summary report with graphics. • An option for 20 in -depth interviews or a focus group with business leaders in place of the business survey is also included. • During the course of the study, Anderson - Niebuhr will work closely with Little Canada representatives to ensure that effective communication is maintained and that the City's needs are met. We are confident that our proposed research methodology will provide the City of Little Canada with accurate information for assessing the needs, satisfaction, and opinions of residents and businesses.
