* Clear- Cutting. The removal of an entire stand of trees. <br />Club or Lodge. A club or lodge is a non - profit association of <br />persons who are bonafide members paying annual dues, use of <br />premises being restricted to members and their guests. <br />Commercial Planned Unit Development. A commercial land use <br />district to which is applied the requirements of the planned <br />unit development as defined by this Ordinance. <br />Commercial Recreation. Bowling alley, golf, pool hall, <br />skating, indoor theaters, indoor firearms or archery range, <br />bingo, dance halls, and amusement centers. <br />Commissioner. The Commissioner of the Department of Natural <br />Resources. <br />* * * <br />** <br />Community Center. Land and /or buildings, owned and used by <br />the City of Little Canada, School District No. 623, or a <br />church, for educational, recreational, and multiple human <br />service purposes, which are intended to primarily benefit the <br />residents of the City of Little Canada and the cities which <br />surround it. "Primarily benefit" means that at least fifty <br />(50 %) percent of the physical facility must be used by the <br />owner/ operator for qualified in -house programs which are <br />designed to service the residents of the City of Little Canada <br />and the cities which surround it. Operating costs may be <br />defrayed by the rental of the remainder of the facility to <br />non - profit organizations, for the purposes stated herein, not <br />to exceed ten (10 %) percent of the gross floor area of the <br />facility for any one lessee. A Community Center may not <br />include any use which is deemed by the City Council to <br />constitute a detriment to the health, safety and general <br />welfare of the residents of the City. <br />Conditional Use. A use, that because of special control <br />problems the use presents, requires effectuation of <br />reasonable, but special, unusual and extraordinary limitations <br />peculiar to the use for the protection of the public welfare <br />and the integrity of the Municipal Land Use Plan. <br />Conditional Use Permit.
