Mar, 18. 1994 1Z:ZZFM REMMELE ENG— PLANT 10 No, 592Z P. 1/1
March 18, 1994
Mr Joel Hanson
Administrator
City of Little Canada
Mr Hanson:
Per our telephone conversation, I am sending you my comments regarding
the Lake Street reconstruction project. I will be again out of town
and therefore not able to attend the workshop or public hearing.
As I mentioned, Lake Street has been in poor condition for some time and
I am basically in still favor of the project provided the cost will be
consistent with an increase in property value,
As I mentioned last the last time aroud, since the cost per homeowner
was not published in advance of the hearing, it tends to make residents
concerned. My suggestion to the neighbors was that they should attend
with an open mind and listen to what if any new information the City
has to present releative to the portion the property owners pay. If
it was documented that our property values would increase by the amount
of the assessment there would be minimal resistance.
If the costs are similar to last year, I would strongly suggest the
council not decide to proceed against the wishes of the residents.
Thank you for your consideration in this matter.
Charles Nagle
145 Lake Street
4ed
Page 10
