MINUTES <br />SPECIAL <br />MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JULY -25 -1979 <br />CONTINUED. <br />Gervais Mr. Blain Edmundson appeared before the Council requesting <br />Ridge approval of a, -5 -ft. front yard set back variance for the <br />Addition construction of single family dwellings on lots-6- thru -10- <br />Front Blk -1- Gervais Ridge Addition. At the July- 11 -th- meeting <br />Yard Mr. Edmundson submitted a letter,marked clerk's attachment <br />Set no.25, pertaining to the reasons for the variances. <br />Back <br />Variance It appears that the rear yards of the mentioned properties <br />Lots have extreme dropoffs. If the lots were filled there still <br />-6- would be a bankment of 10 to 20 ft below the curb level. <br />thru- <br />-7- <br />Mr. De Bace introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 79- 7 -365- <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A -5 -FT -FRONT YARD <br />SET BACK VARIANCE FOR CONSTRUCTION OF <br />SINGLE FAMILY DWELLING ON LOTS -6 -THRU- <br />10- BLOCK -1- GERVAIS SHORES ADDITION. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs Scalze. <br />Ayes -3 -,De Bace,Scalze and Fahey. <br />Nayes -0 -. <br />Resolution adopted. <br />This resolution appears in resolution book no. -5- page -247- <br />Residential At the Council meeting of July- 11- 1979,permission was to given <br />Construction to,Armada Homes Inc., to construct -3- model homes. The Clerk <br />North informed the Council that lots are being sold within the " <br />Payne Addition" and one building permit has been submitted other <br />Ave. then Armada's application. <br />Add. <br />The contractor, (C.W.Houle) for making Imp. 79 -1- informed <br />the clerk that he does not want any disturbance from , <br />" House Contractor's" for a least the next 30 days. <br />( -30 -days commences July -25- 1979). <br />It was decided that building permits could be issued <br />provied that the," Home Contractor" receives written <br />permission from C.W.
