Construction shall be consistent with the plans and specifications approved by the District as a part of the <br />permitting process. The date of the approved plans and specifications is listed on the permit. <br />2. All revisions to the plans and specifications approved by the District as a part of the permitting process shall <br />be submitted to the District for review and will not become the new approved plans and specifications until <br />written notice from the District is received by the applicant. <br />3. Erosion and sediment control best management practices (BMPs) shall be installed and maintained to <br />conform to the standards specified in the RWMWD Rules and the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency's <br />NPDES /SDS General Permit except where more specific requirements are indicated. <br />4. Erosion and sediment control BMPs for the rough grading phase of the project must be installed prior to any <br />land disturbing activities. The Permit Coordinator must be notified once these facilities are installed and an <br />onsite meeting shall be held with the contractor and owner. Grading operations shall not begin until the <br />meeting is held and the Permit Coordinator approves the installed BMPs. <br />5. District staff shall be notified at least 48 hours prior to the construction of the volume reduction BMPs in order <br />to provide for construction observation. Failure to notify the District prior to BMP installation may result in the <br />removal of completed work, at the applicant's expense. A note regarding this provision shall be included on <br />the plans. <br />6. Volume reduction BMPs shall have proper erosion and sediment control BMPs installed and shall be <br />protected from construction traffic. Permanent BMPs must be restored to original design condition <br />immediately following stabilization of the site and must function as designed before the permit can be <br />terminated. <br />7. All projects will be subject to routine inspections by the District Permit Inspector. Sites found to be non- <br />compliant may result in withdrawals from the applicant's escrow funds. <br />
