Hanson <br />Attached is an invoice from Xcel related to additional undergrounding charges associated <br />with the Phase I Rice Street reconstruction project in the amount of $10,882. This was <br />for additional work needed in the vicinity of Viking Drive that was outside the original <br />scope of the Rice Street project ($5,695) and for the additional costs associated with <br />boring the lines versus open cutting that were initially planned ($5,187). <br />We still may have some additional charges to resolve with Xcel between the two cities, <br />but staff believes we need to pay this amount per our initial agreement. <br />
