CONSTRUCTION <br />MANAGEMENT <br />PROPOSALS <br />FOR <br />PUBLIC WORKS/ <br />PARKS FACILITY <br />MINUTES OF THE WORKSHOP MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />NOVEMBER 19, 2013 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a workshop meeting of the City <br />Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 19th day of <br />November, 2013 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at <br />515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Bill Blesener called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. and the <br />following members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: Mayor <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Mr. Bill Blesener <br />Ms. Shelly Boss <br />Mr. John Keis <br />Mr. Michael McGraw <br />Mr. Rick Montour (arr. 5:44) <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Mr. Joel R. Hanson <br />Public Works Supt. Mr. Bill Dircks <br />Parks & Rec Director Mr. Jim Morelan <br />The purpose of this evening's workshop meeting is to interview <br />three of the seven firms that submitted proposals for construction <br />management services for the City's new Public Works /Parks Facility. <br />A predetermined set of questions was asked of representatives of each <br />firm, with some time allotted at the end of the question period for <br />firms to present additional information. <br />EDS Builders, Inc. — Earl (Doc) Smith was present. <br />James Steele Construction Company — Troy Corbett, Marvin Schauer, <br />Richard Naughton were present. <br />Bossardt Corporation — Steve Kilmer, Shane Butler, Richard Michsehl, <br />and Andy Hoffmann were present. <br />The Council discussed the presentations made and instructed the City <br />Administrator to review fee estimates with the firms. The Council also <br />directed the Administrator to do reference checking of each of these firms. <br />This additional information will be presented to the Council at their <br />November 25, 2013 meeting. <br />
