RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING FOR HEARING <br />IMPROVEMENT NO. 2014-02 <br />SCHLETTY ROAD (south of Little Canada Road) <br />WHEREAS, <br />A feasibility report has been prepared by the City Engineer with reference to the <br />improvement of Schletty Road (south of Little Canada Road) by street reconstruction, <br />concrete curb and gutter, an upgraded storm sewer system, and the addition of water <br />main. This report was received by the Council on December 18, 2013, and <br />WHEREAS, <br />The report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is necessary, <br />cost- effective, and feasible. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE <br />CANADA, MINNESOTA: <br />1. The Council will consider the improvement of Schletty Road in accordance with <br />the report and the assessment of benefitting properties for all or a portion of the cost of <br />the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost to <br />the City of Little Canada of $523,000.00. <br />2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 22nd day of <br />January, 2014, in the Council Chambers of the City Center at 6:30 P.M. and the City <br />Administrator shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as <br />required by law. <br />Adopted by the Council this 18th day of December, 2013. <br />Joel R.
