[Hanson <br />The terms of office for Jeff Heikke, Tom Maida, and Kevin Steinert expire on December 31, <br />2013. There is also currently a vacancy due to Dan Slain's resignation this fall. Therefore, the <br />Parks & Recreation Commission has four vacancies. Three of these vacancies are for three year <br />terms, and one vacancy is for a one year term. <br />The City has received a letters requesting reappointment from Jeff Heikke, Tom Maida, and <br />Kevin Steinert. Letters of interest were also received from Jon Joriman and David Miller. <br />The Parks & Recreation Commission Interview Committee will be interviewing Messrs. Joriman <br />and Miller on Monday, and will have an appointment recommendation for the Council's <br />consideration at Wednesday's meeting. <br />Please also note that the updated Parks & Recreation Commission Ordinance calls for the Mayor <br />to make a recommendation for Parks & Recreation Commission Chair. The Council will then <br />make the actual Chair appointment. The Commission will select their own Vice Chair at their <br />first meeting in January. <br />
