ARCHITECT <br />PROPOSALS <br />FOR <br />PUBLIC WORKS/ <br />PARKS <br />FACILITY <br />MINUTES OF THE WORKSHOP MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />DECEMBER 16, 2013 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a workshop meeting of the City <br />Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 16th day of <br />December, 2013 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at <br />515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Bill Blesener called the meeting to order at 5:33 p.m. and the <br />following members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: Mayor <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />ABSENT: <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />Mr. Bill Blesener <br />Ms. Shelly Boss <br />Mr. John Keis (arr. 5:52 pm) <br />Mr. Michael McGraw <br />Council Member Mr. Rick Montour <br />City Administrator Mr. Joel R. Hanson <br />Public Works Supt. Mr. Bill Dircks <br />Parks & Rec Director Mr. Jim Morelan <br />Construction Mgr. Mr. Richard Naughton <br />The purpose of this evening's workshop meeting is to interview three of <br />the nine firms that submitted proposals for architectural services for the <br />City's new Public Works /Parks Facility. A predetermined set of questions <br />was asked of representatives of each firm, with some time allotted at the <br />end of the question period for firms to present additional firms to present <br />present additional information. The three firms interviewed were: <br />Oertel Architects, Ltd. <br />Hagen, Christensen & Mcllwain (HCM) <br />BVK Group <br />The Council discussed the presentations. A final decision will be made at <br />Wednesday's Council meeting. <br />ADJOURN There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 9:54 p.m. <br />
