Hanson <br />We need to set a date for our 2014 Goal Setting Session. I have contacted Mark Nagel regarding <br />his availability. He has indicated the following days would work for his schedule: <br />• Thursday, January 161h <br />• Tuesday, January 21m <br />• Monday, February 3rd <br />• Tuesday, February 4th <br />• Monday, February 10th <br />The other item we need to finalize is citizen representation at the session. Last year we had three <br />citizens at large participate. The citizen at large attendees are noted below: <br />Nick Schwalbach — 2011 <br />Ron Horwath — 2011 & 2012 <br />Terry Jansen — 2011 & 2012 <br />Steve Ledin — 2012 <br />Gib Coleman — 2012 & 2013 <br />Rita Mills — 2012 & 2013 <br />Barry Roberts - 2013 <br />You had imposed a two year limitation to serve as a "citizen at large ". If you utilized that <br />limitation (that is a policy decision for you to make), then Gib Coleman & Rita Mills would not <br />be eligible. Barry Roberts would qualify for another session <br />In the past, we have utilized non - appointees for Commission Openings. For 2014, Cindy <br />Bhimani and Steve Ledin have applied for the Planning Commission. Jon Joriman and David <br />Miller have applied for the Parks & Recreation Commission. The extended deadline for <br />applications is January 14 °i and there is one vacancy for each commission. It should be noted <br />that the Council is not restricted to this listing for possible candidates. <br />
