For either of these, the Council should make <br />a finding as to the setback which is to be intexpreted as the appropriate standard in such cases. <br />For instance, the Council might make a finding that detached accessory buildings should not be <br />located in front of the principal banding, that is, between the house and the street. This <br />interpretation would expand the setback iequhement from required front yard* to the definition <br />at "front yanr, which is any of the land area between the principal builrfuig and the stem. Some <br />accessory bmicfmgs have been permitted in front of the house in the past, such as the Quam <br />accessary building.
