The Planner noted
that the document talks about site usage, the
architectural review process, and design issues. The
Planner felt this information shows how the process
works and what the City would have to do to establish
such an ordinance. The document lists objectives as
well as individual architectural elements.
The Planner suggested that the Commission start
thinking about what would be important in such an
ordinance for the Rice Street area and how it would fit
into the Development Guide. The Planner suggested that
such an ordinance would be an implementation step in
the Development Guide.
Garske felt a lot of the elements
The Planner replied that the City
impression a building would make
one control element to include in
4
Page 24
were conceptual.
would consider the
Roof styles would be
the ordinance.
