c y 299 7f cKerznaek
515 Little Canada Road, Little Canada, MN 55117 -1600
(612) 484 -2177 / FAX: (612) 484 -4538
September 22, 1995
TO: Mayor Fahey and Members of the City Council
FROM: Joel R. Hanson, City Administrator
RE: Frattalone Property Concerns
MAYOR
Michael I. Fahey
COUNCIL
Beverly Scalze
Jim LaValle
Steve Moreton
Bob Pedersen - - - --
ADMINISTRATOR
Joel R. Hanson
Mark Fourre has requested to be placed on the agenda. Since his
appearance at our meeting of August 23rd, Mr. Frattalone has made
significant efforts in cleaning up the site. Our understanding
with him is as follows:
*A11 unlicensed and inoperable vehicles as well as any other
debris is to be removed from the site prior September 27th;
*L & R Auto Repair will vacate the site by January 1, 1996;
*No outdoor storage will be permitted on the site with the
exception of seven to eight autos in conjunction with the
auto wholesalers. These vehicles will be turning over
rapidly and should be hard to distinguish from normal
parking on the site.
*Ten 5'- 6' tall evergreens are to be planted on the top of
the existing berm along Park Street to provide additional
screening for the adjacent residential area.
*Mr. Frattalone will pursue acquisition of the property
abutting his south property line over the next six to
eighteen months. This property will enable him to maintain
parking on site while providing adequate turning radius into
the building. If he were to comply with current zoning
regulations for use of his property, he would have to
consider removal of the berm to provide adequate•parking.
The reason for the time needed to complete this transaction
relates to the tax - delinquent status of this parcel.
cc: Mark Fourre
Frank Frattalone
Page 47
