Hanson <br />The City is required to submit preliminary budget estimates to <br />Ramsey County by September 15th. It is my plan that the Council <br />act on the preliminary budget for 1996 at its September 13th <br />meeting. Therefore, I would like to request that the first <br />budget workshop be scheduled for Thursday, September 7th, at 7:00 <br />P.M. <br />As you may be aware, September 7th is a regular meeting of the <br />Park and Recreation Commission. We will move the Commission's <br />meeting to the Conference Room in order that the Budget workshop <br />can be cablecast. <br />Page 87 <br />
