The DNR will notify the governmental unit in writing of <br />approval or denial within 120 days after receiving all of the above <br />information. Failure of the-DNR to notify the governmental unit <br />shall be considered approval. The governmental unit adopting an <br />crdinance must provide for notification of the ordinance to the <br />public, which involves placing signs at public watercraft launch <br />sites outlining essential elements of the ordinance. <br />Governmental units desiring further information on water <br />surface use management may call the Department of Natural <br />Resources, Boat and Water Safety Section at (612) 296 -3310. <br />Enclosures <br />Page 38 <br />
