MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MAY 22, 1991 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Blesener, Collova, Hanson, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />DESOTO STR. Scalze reported that the Park Commission has <br />IMPROVEMENTS recommended that the City's share of Desoto Street <br />improvements be paid from the Park Development Fund <br />over a 10 -year period. <br />The City Administrator reported that final costs are <br />not yet known, and suggested that if the amount is less <br />than what was estimated, the Council may want to <br />consider paying the costs in a lump sum. <br />Council's consensus was to delay a decision on this <br />matter until final costs are known. <br />DESOTO STR. Scalze reported that the Park Commission has <br />WIDTH recommended a width of 36 feet for Desoto Street, with <br />the street to be posted as no parking. The Commission <br />felt that parking could be allowed along DeSoto for <br />special events only. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />d/6 RESOLUTION NO. 91-5-191 - ACCEPTING THE PARK <br />COMMISSION'S RECOMMENDATION FOR WIDTH OF DESOTO STREET <br />OF 36 FEET WITH DESOTO STREET TO BE POSTED AS NO <br />PARKING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Collova. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Collova, Hanson, LaValle, Blesener. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />VOUCHERS Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />(/RESOLUTION NO. 91 -5 -192 - APPROVING THE VOUCHERS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Collova. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Collova, Scalze, Blesener, Hanson. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />Page 12 <br />
