Wotild you still favor <br />burying above -ground utility lines if utiillity companies charged <br />residents for their relocation undergr u <br />When the City of Little Canada reeenetruetc a deteriorated resi- <br />dential street, owners of property abutting those sections of the <br />street are charged as assessment to covert the entire costs. Some <br />cespeo le <br />feel that the property owners should pay for <br />street reconstruction since they receive the benefit of this <br />service. Others feel that the good condition of streets and <br />roads is a benefit to the entire community and should be paid for <br />out of general tax revenues. <br />58. How about you -- do you think that street reconstruction owners in the <br />should area fnded by increased generalopr property tax reve- <br />nues? <br />59. If you could set the proportion of the cost of street recon- <br />struction to be paid by the property owner -- with the remainder <br />paid through increased general property tax revenuuee, about one <br />percentage do, you think the owner should pay -- <br />quarter, about one -half, about three - quarters, or all of it? <br />On a related issue.... <br />60.
