Mayor and City Council members
January 14, 1995
Page 3
Trail, and it will be evident that the proposed usage of 256 Twin Lake Trail is
not in keeping with the surrounding properties.
2. I would suggest that the City Attorney be asked to provide the Council
with some guidance as to the standards of review for Conditional Use Permits
and also to provide the Council with an opinion as to whether the Council's
and Commission's "hands are tied" and they have no choice but to approve the
application, as the Administrator and other Commission members seemed to
believe at the January 12 hearing.
Thank you for considering my views. Short
Attorney at Law
cc: Tom Sweeney, Litle Canada City Attorney
Page 99
