515 Little Canada Road, Little Canada, MN 55117 -1600
(612) 484 -2177 / FAX: (612) 484 -4538
January 18, 1995
TO: Mayor Fahey and Members of the City Council
FROM: Joel R. Hanson, City Administrator
RE: Cable TV Grant
MAYOR
Michael 1. Fahey
COUNCIL
Beverly Scalze
Jim LaValle
Steve Morel=
Bob Pedersen
ADMINISTRATOR
Joel R. Hanson
Attached is the form needed to apply for a grant through the
Cable Commission for a new character generator. As you may
recall, we applied for this equipment last fall and were
initially notified that it had been approved. However, due to
concern on the part of the Cable Commission regarding each
cities' commitment to use its cable licensing fees for Cable TV
purposes, our application was held for this funding cycle.
I have been told by the Executive Director of the Cable
Commission that funding of this application should not be a
problem. Therefore, I would recommend that you authorize us to
submit the application as presented.
cc: Bill Bruce
Page 118
