Hanson
At the direction of the Council at their last meeting, I
discussed the extention of deadlines with the Little Canada
Press. I was informed that they would be willing to extend their
deadline to 5 P.M. on Thursday's provided that I let them know by
Noon on Thursday that a notice is coming. Typesetting for the
Little Canada Press begins at 1 P.M. on Thursday's, and they
would estimate the amount of space that would be needed for
submissions after the Noon deadline.
At the January llth meeting the Council was comparing a Thursday
Noon deadline for the Little Canada Press with a Friday Noon
deadline for the Lillie Suburban Newspapers.
After the Council's meeting on January llth, Lillie Suburban
Newspapers submitted a letter in which they indicated that they
would extend their deadline to Monday's at 10 A.M. for emergency
submissions. Lillie Suburban also indicated that they will match
the rates which have been quoted by the Little Canada Press.
Page 134
