01/18/95 10:47 CPSC MSP RP -. 484 4538
NO. 149 D02
LITTLE CANADA GIRLS
FAST PITC11 SOFTBALL
January 17, 1995
To: City of Little Canada
ATTN: Joel Hanson/Administrator
515 East Little Canada Road
Litho Canada, MN. 55117
Dear Joel:
I am a coach of the Little Canada 18 and under girls fast pitch team.
This team is sponsored by the Little Canada Parks & Recreation
Department. We play in the Tri County League playing against teams
from Ramsey, Dakota and Washington counties. Our home field is at
the Pioneer Park complex where we play approximately 20 games a
season. It should be noted that this sports complex has been the
subject of many compliments and envy of visiting teams and parents.
This coming summer (1995) our girls softball team would lace to run a
tournament at the Pioneer Park complex during the week end of 6-3-95
as a fundraiser. We hope b attract girls fast pitch teams in the 18 yrs
under, 16 yrs under and 14 yrs under categories. If the tournament fills
out there would be approximately 20 teams Including our team and we
assume the two other fast pitch teams from Little Canada.
There would be no alcoholic beverages sold; however, we would like to
use the concession stand to sell food and soft drinks. The tournament
would run from approximately 9:OOAM to 5:OOPM each day.
Page 139
