MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />JANUARY 12, 1995 <br />Mrs. Kukk replied that she had no problem with that <br />recommendation. <br />Mr. Keis recommended approval of the division of 83 <br />West County Road C subject to compliance with the <br />recommendations of the City Planner as outlined in his <br />report dated January 9, 1995. <br />Motion seconded by Carson. <br />Motion carried 6 - 0. <br />REZONING, Mr. Gordie Howe, Masterpiece Homes, appeared before <br />PUD, & the Commission requesting approval of a rezoning, <br />FINAL PLAT - planned unit development and final plat for Cobblestone <br />COBBLESTONE Village. Howe reported that he has changed the cul -de- <br />VILLAGE sacs within the plat slightly. Howe also reported that <br />he has checked with the surveyor and has determined <br />that the easterly port has a 60 foot radius. <br />The City Planner indicated that was acceptable. <br />Keis asked about the driveway issue raised in the <br />Planner's report. <br />Howe reported that the driveways are individual. <br />Keis asked if setbacks within the plat met Code. <br />The Planner replied that they do. <br />Keis asked about the paver bricks planned for the <br />street. <br />Howe reported that he was planning to install paver <br />bricks at the entry area to the development for a <br />distance of about 20 feet. However, the Public Works <br />Department has expressed concern about plowing given <br />that the pavers may move with the frost. Therefore, <br />Howe stated that he is leaning against the pavers due <br />to Public Works' concerns, however, felt that if placed <br />properly, the pavers would not shift. Howe stated that <br />the pavers add a sense of value to the area. <br />The City Planner pointed out that a portion of the <br />property was rezoned at the last meeting.
