1
0 2 R HAWS p!✓
: /2
Li./ ov4/Z O
Regarding the memo I received from Paul Anderson at City Hall
on February 8, 1995, and the letter I received from the City
of Little Canada also on February 8, 1995, only hours before
our meeting regarding the Viking Drive Project.
If infect the easement on the East Side of my property is a
private easement I refuse and am in no agreement to surender
any property no matter how small for public roadway. This
easement should have been considered obsolete when Gilanderi
Lane was built. A mile Public road serving only Seven
properties is excessive and a extreme waste of property and
serves no purpose other than an extremely expensive turn-
around. 600 ft. of roadway does not equal one 30 ft. culdesac
as an improvement option no 2. Turning this private easement
into a Public road would make me responsible for almost
1000 running ft. of frontage on a parsile only 210 ft. by 600 ft.
I have planned to build for many years and someday would
like to call this place my home. I simply can not afford to
maintain this much frontage. Anew roadway, curbing, ect.
would force me to sell Part or All of this property. I
would like to see this easement left Private and repaired or
shut down.
This property has been in my family through Four generations
and 96 years and I would like to see that continued.
Sincerely
David Allen Smith
Page 19
