It is my understanding that the neighborhood has not requested that the street
be opened, nor has the long cul- de-sac design presented any particular problem for the City.
This understanding is based on our discussion of the issue in light of the lapse of the °trial
period" will the road closed.
Although we believe (as we originally did) that the transportation pattern in the area would be
enhanced by a second enhance to the area, and that industrial traffic would not be inclined to
use the street, we would not see any overwhelming advantage to requiring its opening now over
the objection of the neighborhood. We would not recommend a vacation of the right-of-way,
however, in the event that conditions change, or emergency access is required through the area.
pc: Terry Bourdon
Dave Harris
5775 Wayzata Blvd. • Suite 555 • St. Louis Park, MN 55416 • (612) 595- 9636•Fax. 595 -9837
TOTAL P.02
Page 13
