WORKERS' COMPENSATION <br />Workers' Compensation insurance provides compensation to <br />employees who have a work - related injury or disease. The <br />compensation includes partial wage replacement and full payment <br />of reasonable medical and rehabilitation costs. in case of <br />death, workers' compensation benefits are paid to the employee's <br />dependents. <br />Workers' Compensation Procedures: <br />1. All injuries must be reported to the employee's <br />immediate supervisor within 72 hours of the injury. A <br />supervisor's accident report form must be filed. <br />2. Employees or their representatives must report serious <br />injuries /death within 24 hours of occurrence to the <br />City Administrator. Other injuries that require the <br />employee to miss three calendar days must be reported <br />to the insurance company within ten days. <br />45 <br />
