Hanson: <br />Over the past decade, I have been a business leader to drive positive business results <br />while in Research and Development Laboratory roles as a Chemist/Chemical Engineer. I <br />would like to expand my leadership through the Parks and Recreation Commission. <br />I am writing to determine whether the Parks and Recreation Commission need someone <br />with my training and experience. I am an accomplished chemical engineer /chemist with <br />a strong background in concept and product development. I have the ability to take ideas <br />and make them patented profitable products. This background has been achieved through <br />team building with research and development as well as manufacturing engineers. I have <br />been able to manage people, projects and deadlines through my leadership. <br />I am also a devoted family man with two small children who use the parks and <br />community services on a regular basis. I believe it is important to give more to your <br />community than you get. I want to give back. I believe a good park system is essential <br />to continue to build strong families and communities.
