Sewer rates would need to increase as follows to eliminate the
deficit:
Sewer: Residential & Commercial w/o Water - $41.44 /SAC;
Commercial w/ Water - $2.27 per 1,000 gallons w/
a $41.44 minimum.
Rather than take this approach, staff will evaluate other options
for revising the rate structure which will impact users where our
rates are proportionally lower than for our low volume
residential customers. This information will be presented at
Wednesday's meeting. A final decision on this matter will be
needed before the end of the month.
Page 62
