Fahey
COUNCIL
Beverly Scalze
Jim LaValle
Steve Morelan
Bob Pedersen
ADMINISTRATOR
Joel R. Hanson
Pursuant to the direction of the City Council which occurred at
their meeting of March 8, 1995, I am hereby returning the $7,500
deposit you made pursuant to the terms of a draft of a
development agreement that was prepared in December of 1994. It
is being returned because the City has not approved entering into
this agreement. As you know, the reason the City has not
approved this agreement is that submittals which were due the
date it was to be approved (December 21, 1994) were not received
by us. Since then, you have not made sufficient progress to
warrant the City entering into a contractual relationship with
your company.
To reconfirm previous conversations, I am once again stating that
no contractual relationship exists between you or the Venetian
Development Corporation and the City of Little Canada.
Furthermore, no exclusive rights have been granted you or your
company to develop the Little Canada Road /Rice Street area. The
City will consider any proposals you or other developers may have
for the redevelopment of this area consistent with the
redevelopment objectives the City establishes.
Should you feel the position stated in this letter is not an
accurate reflection of the conditions as they exist from your
perspective, I would ask that you please notify us in writing
within five business days of the date of this letter.
Sincerely,
Joel R.
