MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />MARCH 10, 2014 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a special meeting of the City <br />Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 10th day of <br />March, 2014 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Acting Mayor Rick Montour called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. and <br />the following members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUCIL: <br />Acting Mayor <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Mr. Rick Montour <br />Ms. Shelly Boss <br />Mr. John Keis <br />Mr. Michael McGraw <br />ABSENT: Mayor Mr. Bill Blesener <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Mr. Joel R. Hanson <br />IMP. NO. The City Administrator reported that based on the discussion that <br />2014 -12 occurred at the January 22, 2014 Improvement Hearing for the proposed <br />SCHLETTY Schletty Drive improvement, he reviewed the costs and put together <br />DRIVE some assessment options. The Council reviewed these options and <br />instructed City staff to survey the neighborhood as well as hold another <br />neighborhood meeting to review these options. Based on the Council's <br />review of the assessment options and the results of the survey and <br />neighborhood meeting, City staff is recommending that Council call for an <br />improvement hearing based on Assessment Scenario #3 — street <br />rehabilitation (50% assessment) and contractor quoted water main pricing. <br />McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2014 -3 -46 — CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING TO <br />CONSIDER IMPROVEMENT NO. 2014 -02, SCHLETTY ROAD <br />(SOUTH OF LITTLE CANADA ROAD) BY STREET <br />RECONSTRUCTION, CONCRETE CURB AND GUTTER, AN <br />UPGRADED STORM SEWER SYSTEM, AND THE ADDITION OF <br />WATERMAINAND STREET LIGHTING FOR MONDAY, MARCH <br />24, 2014 AT 6:00 P.M. <br />
