This development would bring the flagship HOM <br />Furniture Brand and the Design Studio by Gabberts to join the current DOCK86 retail store. <br />Plans include converting the majority of the warehouse space into retail furniture space. <br />The new furniture complex would approximately triple the employment opportunities in the <br />same space. If approved, the completed the Little Canada Furniture complex would be the <br />largest furniture retail location in the Twin Cities, the State of Minnesota and the Upper <br />Midwest. <br />in consideration of this proposed expansion of retail space, and with recognition that HOM has <br />abided by the current PUD in the operation of DOCK86, and that HOM has a highly rated <br />reputation as a professionally operated retailer, the following changes to the current PUD are <br />requested to support the additional retail activity in and on the current 3201 Country Drive site. <br />
