Explanation of Conditions in PUD Permit
(Resolution #2011-7-131)
Revised 5/30/2014
• PUD Permit Limited to the Outdoor Storage of Industrial Grade Lumber with
the stipulation that that outdoor storage not exceed 60,000 Square Feet and
no higher than 14 feet.
We will continue to store Industrial Grade Lumber Products hut are requesting
that we increase the limits of 60,000 square feet and 14 foot stack height to
€64,410 square feet (7% increase in Sq.f L) and 17 foot stack height,
• All trucks and trailers on the site are for loading of materials and not to be
used for storage.
No change to this requirement.
• Allowing one trailer on site to be used for Dust Collection and Storage.
'Request increase frorn 1 trailer to 3 trailers on site. We would lice to clarify
that trailers are never used for storage of dust (loading and transport only -no
long term storage). When a trailer is full, it is switched out with an em ty one
immediately. We currently fill 2-4 trailers per week. VVe are requesting tre
need for 3 trailers because this allows us to use one as an active trailer (being
loaded), one is a plow --ay trailer (that collects over low dust or approximately
one-two weeks and when full, it is transported), the 3"6 trailer is used as a
backup to switch out the first trailer when it is full.
• Review and approval by Fire Marshall.
While we are requesting increased storage height, this recuest still falls within
section 190924909.4 of the Minnesota State The Code. VVe will work with
the City Fire Marshal and Staf to ensure compliance with all codes.
• The property owners enter into a Development Agreement with the City
defining all PUD Permit conditions.
No change, outside o the changes requested in this amendment.
Requested Extension of PUD Related to Building Expansion
(Resolution #2011-7-132)
While we nave no current pians to expand the buildings on this property,
given the rapid growth of our pusiness, we would lice to keep this option
open. We would request another 3 year extension to tHis resolution, if
accenta
ale to t
ne council.
