MINUTES
PLANNING COMMISSION
JULY 10, 2014
Ledin noted that the Ordinance requires an unusual or unique condition or
need to justify the SUP, and felt that the process allowed the Commission
to look at the condition or need present to justify the home occupation.
Duray agreed that the process worked last month, and felt that the SUP
process provides the City with some type of control and allows the City to
know what is happening in neighborhoods. Duray felt no changes were
needed to the ordinance. Barraclough agreed and pointed out that the
Planner's report indicated that this is the second SUP request that the City
has received in the past 15 years.
The City Planner indicated that the Commission's comments would be
passed on to the Council. If the Council directs an amendment to the
ordinance, the matter would be brought back to the Commission.
ADJOURN There being no further business, Fischer adjourned the meeting at 8:13
p.m.
Respectfully submitte
athg Glanze/
City Clerk (
-7-
