Hanson <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Mayor Blesener and Members of the City Council <br />FROM: Joel Hanson, City Administrator <br />DATE: August 8, 2014 <br />RE: 2014 Fire Contract Renewal — Extension Until September 30th <br />Attached is a revised contract with the Little Canada Fire Department that extends the <br />current agreement until September 30, 2014. As you know, we have not yet finalized a <br />plan for Relief Benefits and the Fire Department did not want to finalize the 2014 <br />contract until that is accomplished. We have continued to meet with officers of the Fire <br />Department and additional meetings are planned. <br />Subject to any comments by the LCFD, staff would recommend approval of the contract <br />amendment as presented. <br />cc: LCFD <br />
