MINNESOTA° REVENUE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE <br />AGREEMENT AS TO FINAL DETERMINATION OF TAX LIABILITY <br />PURSUANT TO MINNESOTA STATUTES SECTION 270C.35, SUBD. 7 <br />This agreement is by and between the Commissioner of Revenue of the State of <br />Minnesota (commissioner) and City of Little Canada, who is the taxpayer with account number <br />8034325 (taxpayer). <br />WHEREAS, the taxpayer provides Solid Waste Management Services in Minnesota; and <br />WHEREAS, the taxpayer files Solid Waste Management Tax returns with the commissioner; and <br />WHEREAS, the commissioner audited the taxpayer's liability for Solid Waste Management Tax <br />for the periods 7/1/2009 to 12/31/2013; and <br />WHEREAS, on 3/12/2014, the commissioner issued a Notice of Change in Solid Waste <br />Management Tax in the amount of $29,600.43; and <br />WHEREAS, a disagreement exists between the parties over the proper amount of additional tax <br />owed by the taxpayer; and <br />WHEREAS, the commissioner and the taxpayer wish to settle the matter amicably and avoid the <br />costs, risks and delays of litigation; <br />NOW THEREFORE, it is agreed by and between the parties; <br />THAT the taxpayer will pay the commissioner $2,580.00 in tax and interest within 15 days of the <br />date of this agreement; and <br />THAT said payment will be in full settlement of this matter; and <br />THAT nothing in this agreement constitutes an admission by either party concerning any legal of <br />factual issue involved in this matter; and <br />THAT this agreement binds neither party with respect to any tax period not the subject of this <br />agreement, nor does it bind the commissioner with respect to any taxpayer not a party to this <br />agreement; and <br />Minnesota Department of Revenue <br />Special Taxes Division <br />Mail Station 3331 <br />St. Patti, MN 55146-3331 <br />Tel: (651) 556-3022 <br />Fax: (651) 282.3933 <br />An equal opportunity employer <br />
