ERRING 4ISSO(IATES <br />Memo <br />TO: Honorable Mayor & Members of the City Council <br />FROM: Lee Elfering, City Engineer <br />DATE: September 5, 2014 <br />RE: Centerville Road Storm Pipe <br />As directed by the City Council we are obtaining bids for the installation of the Centerville <br />Road storm pipe. Bids will be received for the project at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, <br />September 10th and an exhibit showing the proposed pipe route is attached to this <br />exhibit. In general the proposed route is on the west side of Centerville Road from <br />Labore Road to south of Eli Road and includes two crossings of Centerville Road. The <br />line will serve as the new storm water outlet for the new Public Works Facility and will be <br />utilized for street drainage when this section of Centerville Road is improved. <br />We are attempting to set up a meeting with Ramsey County after the bids are received <br />to have further discussions on cost sharing due to the dual purpose of the pipe. We will <br />provide an update on the bids received and any progress made in our discussions with <br />the County at the meeting.
