ASSOCIATES <br />Memo <br />TO: Mayor Blesener & Members of the City Council <br />FROM: Lee Elfering, City Engineer <br />DATE: September 5, 2014 <br />RE: Pioneer Park Pavers <br />Partial Payment #1 <br />Mg HON <br />In June of this year Wolkerstofer Contracting was the low bidder for the replacement and <br />repair paver work at Pioneer Park. The Council awarded the project with a total <br />estimated cost of the work based on the bid prices and estimated quantities of <br />approximately $27,000.00. The Contractor mobilized to the site and began work on the <br />4th of September. Based on their current work progress we anticipate the work should <br />be completed the week of the September 15111. They are a relatively small contractor <br />and have requested some payment at this time to assist in material and labor costs to <br />complete the project. We estimate that they will have a minimum of 25% of the work <br />completed by the time of the Council meeting and therefore would recommend the City <br />Council authorize payment of $6,750.00 at this time.
